New location, new ambitions

Something was on my mind for a long time now...Should I change the location of my blog, should I choose Wordpress over Blogger...After some testing and a lot of thinking :) I have decided to move my blog from Blogger, not that Blogger isn't good enough but Wordpress just gives me more space and more creativity with the design and the whole interface is better.

But this is not all. Maybe you have noticed that there is a new entry page for Juš Medič Photography. And there will be a new web page shortly (I am really working hard on it). But for now you can enjoy (or not :P...hopefully you will) my new blog. All of previous links should be working as well and my blog will stay online here on Blogger. I welcome you to my new blog. Hope you like the change !!

Colorado, USA

If you are not sure where to go skiing next year…here is a thought, why not go to Colorado USA. Vast expanses of ski areas, huge amounts of powder each year…these are just some of the things you might expect while skiing in Colorado. It was my second time in Vail and I must say, that there is no better place for skiing (so far :D). And did I mention that the snow in Colorado is so much different from the snow here in Europe. “There is no substitute for altitude!”

Diving Thailand - Video

The true testing of my IXUS underwater housing came with diving in Thailand. I posted my underwater photos a while ago, but now I´m going to show you my short movie from the world beneath the surface. It was shot in waters around Phi Phi and on Similian islands. Enjoy, I certainly did making this movie :)

Surf Kombi…izvirna darila

Med našim potepanjem/surfanjem na Fuerteventuri smo zasledili res noro izvirno zadevico :) Hranilnik (šparovc po domače) v obliki Surf kombija (se še spomnete starega WV kombija? dodajte mu surf na streho in valove na obali). V Sloveniji jih do sedaj ni bilo mogoče dobiti. Tako se je rodila nova stran Surf Kombi, kjer lahko naročite velike in male surf kombije ter ostala zanimiva darila.

Fuerteventura Surfin

For the new year of 07/08 I was in Marocco surfing with my friends and if you remember my posts and photos, we had a great vacation and new adventures. So later that year we decided that our new surfing destination will be Fuerteventura. Landscape is even more stunning here and the surfing is also great if not superb. As always I was carrying my gear everywhere and I also had an underwater housing for my IXUS so we shoot some cool clips in the water :) I put those clips together and here it is…my little short movie from Fuerteventura. Enjoy!

Verbier, Switzerland

After one month of “summer” in southeast Asia, I was on my way to Verbier, Switzerland. I arrived in Ljubljana on 18th of December and on the 20th I was already on my way to Verbier. It was quite a change from tropical forests to glaciers and snow. I’ve also packed all my photo material from Asia, so I was able to edit it in my free time. I spend 14 days skiing with my family and friends in Verbier and it was great.
